Theatre Arts Administration

Theatre is a business and the Theatre Arts Administration program bridges the gap between the art of theatre and the science of business. You’ll learn skills in both the theatre arts and business administration to prepare you for a career in roles across the competitive arts industry.

What You'll Study

As a Theatre Arts Administration major you’ll get the best of both worlds: classes in both Business Administration and Theatre Arts that will prepare you for a dynamic career after graduation. You will perfect your management skills through class work, practical experiences involving productions, and community events held on campus during the academic year, with professional internships and employment experiences during the summer. You will also have the opportunity to be a member of Sigma Beta Delta International Honors Society, Alpha Psi Omega Honors Society, or the play selection committee.

Beyond the Classroom

While earning your degree, you’ll complete an internship to test your skills and learn in the field. In addition, you’ll travel with fellow students in the program to the Southeastern Theatre Conference to develop industry connections and learn about potential opportunities in the future.
